This blog is based on task given by my teacher in remedial classes. She told me to write report on any event so I wrote report on ICT workshop which recently take placed in our department.                                                                                                                                          1st August 2018

ICT Workshop In Arts Department

The Department of English, Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University has organized an ICT workshop for the students and teachers of all other departments of university. This workshop was organized on 30th July 2018, Monday. Though department of English is arts department but it is known for it’s gigantic use of digital tools. All the students and teachers from MBA, Chemistry, Commerce, English, History, Life Science, Marine Science, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Gujarati and MJC College was present. From 9 o’clock in the morning the workshop was started. It has been started with university song and prayer. The topics like eGroup, Gplus, Google Classroom, Mooc Swayam, eD.x, Coursera, National Academic Depository (NAD), National Digital Library of India, PPT, Blog, Drive, Digilocker, Citation and Urkund – The originality checker, etc was discussed and presented by the students of English department. The workshop ended on 6 o’clock in the evening. The head of the department of English Dr. Dilip Barad was presented through out the whole day. At the end the feedback form was also given and it has got very positive feedback from all. It was also suggested by attenders to plan this type of workshop every year. The department of English also gave Digital certificate to all presenters and attenders. At the end of the day all presenters and volunteers had group photo and workshop was ended successfully.
